A NEMA WD 6 to Type 86 / DIN 49073 adapter plate.

The ControlFix NA 2-Gang to Dynalite Revolution EU Adapter enables the Dynalite Revolution Display and Revolution Button EU panels to be installed on a standard NA 2-gang wallbox. A two-part, low-profile adapter system - ControlFix mounting plate fixes to the wallbox, ControlFix face plate presents the panel cleanly against the wall surface. Assembled depth 4mm.

Materials Palette

ControlFix CF-NA-EU is a two-component assembly. Mounting plate and face plate are each manufactured from fibre reinforced engineering composites, selected for the functional role of each component.

Mounting Plate - Core Finish
Carbon fibre reinforced composite. A denser material surface provides greater hardness, abrasion resistance, and resistance to chemical exposure. High structural rigidity supports the load-bearing fixing point between wallbox and panel.

Face Plate - Gallery Finish
Glass fibre reinforced composite. RF transparent and electrically insulating. Finished with a UV-stabilised automotive-grade satin clearcoat for a durable, premium architectural appearance.

• Arctic White - a neutral white. Complements the Revolution White rim and Laquer White fascia options.
• Luna Grey - a considered mid-grey. Complements the Revolution Aluminium Satin and Luxe fascia options.
• Obsidian Black - a deep, low-reflection black. Complements the Revolution Black rim and Laquer Black fascia options, and provides contrast against the Gold fascia options.

Compatible Panels

Panel Compatibility
Compatible with the full Dynalite Revolution EU range including the Revolution Display (PDRDE) and Revolution Button EU (PDRxE) in 2, 4, and 8-button configurations. Also compatible with Dynalite Antumbra EU and a broad range of Type 86 and DIN 49073 European square panels sharing the same 60.3mm fixing centre spacing and M3.5 screw standard.

Mounting Compatibility
Designed for standard NA 2-gang new work wallboxes at 83.3mm x 46mm (1 13/16" x 3 9/32") 6-32 UNC fixing centres, matching NEMA WD 6. Also compatible with standard Australian and US single-gang mounting hole configurations (83.3mm to 84mm) - the 60.3mm panel fixing centres are wider than the standard single-gang box width, so additional clearance holes outside the box footprint will be required if mounting to a 1-gang box. Confirm your panel's bracket orientation aligns with the horizontal M3.5 fixing centres before ordering. M3.5 panel fixing screws and the Revolution mounting bracket are supplied with the Dynalite panel. Wallbox fixing screws are not supplied - installer to provide screws to suit.

Installation

The ControlFix mounting plate fixes to a standard NA 2-gang wallbox at the standard 1 13/16" × 3 9/32" (46mm × 83.3mm) fixing centre spacing. Wallbox clearance holes are slotted and 4mm tall to accommodate the screw shaft and allow positional adjustment during installation. The ControlFix face plate locates onto the mounting plate via integrated locating lugs and is secured together with the Dynalite sub-mounting plate using the panel's supplied M3.5 fixing screws, which thread into brass inserts in the ControlFix mounting plate. No additional fixings are required beyond the wallbox screws and the fixings supplied with the Dynalite panel.

This adapter has been designed for minimal profile. For installations where the wallbox sits proud of the finished wall surface, a deeper face plate variant is available on request.

The Dynalite Revolution EU range is also supported across ControlBase and ControlSurface mounting solutions. ControlBase suits demonstration environments, exhibition and showroom environments, and applications where pluggable connectivity is preferred over permanent hardwired installation. ControlSurface provides a surface mounting solution for joinery, stone, or timber where recessed installation is not appropriate.
