Shipping Policy
Domestic Shipping - Australia
All orders are dispatched from our Melbourne studio. Products are manufactured to order - standard lead time is 7-10 business days before dispatch. See individual product listings for current lead times.
Domestic shipping is calculated on packed order weight and charged at carrier rates. No markup. Orders are processed by invoice - contact studio@730design.au to place an order.
International Shipping - Trade Accounts
International shipping is available by arrangement for registered trade accounts. Contact studio@730design.au to discuss.
International Shipping - Public Orders
If you are located outside Australia and wish to purchase from 730design, you may arrange delivery to an Australian parcel forwarding service of your choosing.
Parcel forwarding providers supply customers with a local Australian delivery address. Your order is delivered to that address and the provider then arranges onward shipment to your international destination.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any parcel forwarding service. Customers must make their own assessment of any provider they choose to use.
Delivery and Risk Transfer
For parcel forwarding orders, delivery is considered complete once the shipment has been delivered to the forwarding provider's address and confirmed by the courier's tracking records. At that point risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer.
For trade international orders, risk transfers to the customer on collection by the nominated carrier from our Melbourne studio.
We are not responsible for any loss, delay, damage, or handling that occurs after delivery to the forwarding provider or carrier collection.
Customer Responsibilities
- All arrangements with parcel forwarding providers or nominated carriers are made directly by the customer
- Any forwarding fees, freight costs, storage fees, or handling charges are the customer's responsibility
- Any customs duties, taxes, import charges, or regulatory compliance requirements in the destination country are the customer's responsibility
- Claims relating to loss, delay, or damage after handover must be made directly with the forwarding provider or carrier
International Regulatory Compliance
Our products are designed and supplied in accordance with Australian market expectations and specifications unless otherwise stated. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the purchase, importation, and use of any 730design product complies with all applicable laws, standards, and import rules in the destination country.
Installation
730design products are SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) mounting accessories. Mains wiring must not be connected to or routed through any 730design product under any circumstances.
Compliance with applicable installation standards, regulations, and licensing requirements is solely the responsibility of the installer.
