ControlFix 3 & 4 Gang Cavity Mount Frame | Designed for Decora

A direct cavity-mount frame for NEMA WD-6 and Decora-format control panels, keypads, and low-voltage architectural touchscreens, for installations where a back box isn't required by local code. No external hardware - the keypad clamps the frame directly to the wall.

Overview

Engineered using 730design's signature clip-and-flange fixing principle, the ControlFix 3 & 4 Gang Cavity Mount Frame features a rear flange that bears against the back of the drywall. The frame is held securely in position the moment your panel is fitted.

Designed for custom integration and architectural control systems, this single-piece unit is available in native 3-gang and 4-gang configurations. Integrated cut marks allow you to trim either size down to 2-gang or 1-gang. Multiple frames can be installed side by side to accommodate large multi-gang runs while maintaining precise NEMA gang-to-gang spacing across the join, with no connecting hardware required.

System Compatibility

Built for standard NEMA WD-6 (46.02mm / 1 13/16in module spacing) low-voltage backless applications. The 3-Gang frame fits any device built to 1, 2, or 3-gang NEMA WD-6 spacing; the 4-Gang frame fits 1, 2, 3, or 4-gang - use the included cut marks to trim down to the size you need. Compatible with major architectural lighting and automation brands:

• Control4: Decora Wired Keypads
• Crestron: Cameo, Horizon, and custom keypads built to standard US box spacing
• Dynalite: DirectSet (DSxA) preconfigured digital wall stations, and PDTS touchscreen
• Lutron: Palladiom and seeTouch keypads (QS-bus, low-voltage)
• Savant: Echo and Metropolitan style low-voltage keypads (WPK/WIK series, 24V DC)
• Pharos: TPS8 and XPT8 Express (Expert) Touch, and ETC Mosaic M-TS8
• Other Systems: ETC Unison Echo Inspire, RTI in-wall keypads, and any standard Decora faceplate device
