Modifications
We don't recommend making alterations. Any alterations void the warranty. If you do need to cut, drill, file, or sand any of our fibre-reinforced polymer products, take appropriate precautions. The customer is responsible for determining and following the specific precautions appropriate to their tools, materials, and work environment.
By Product Range
M3.5 fixing screws supplied as standard with every bracket. 6-32 UNC thread variants available on request. Hand tools only - do not use power tools or impact drivers on any fixing point.
Fitting a keystone device: hook the bottom retaining tab of the keystone jack into the lower slot of the ControlBase backplane. Then push the top of the jack upward and forward until the flexible latch clicks securely into place.
ControlBase Stage (see Designed for LSC)
Same M3.5 standard as ControlBase, 6-32 UNC available on request. D-type backplane variants are supplied with one blank plate and 2x M3x30 fixing screws for the blank plate itself. Hand tools only - do not use power tools or impact drivers on any fixing point.
Panel fixing screws (M3.5) are supplied. Surface fixing screws - the fixings that attach the bracket to your substrate - are not supplied, since the correct fixing depends on the material you're mounting into (joinery, stone, or timber). Source these appropriate to your substrate. Hand tools only - do not use power tools or impact drivers on any fixing point.
ControlFix - CF-70 (70mm cutout)
Trade Pack: M3.5 screws included. Dealer Pack: screws not included - intended for use alongside panels that already ship with their own M3.5 fixing screws. Hand tools only - do not use power tools or impact drivers on any fixing point.
ControlFix - NA/AU Back Box Adapters
M3.5 panel fixing screws are supplied with the control panel itself, not by 730design - these are the manufacturer's own screws for their panel. Wallbox fixing screws are not supplied; source these to suit your wallbox. Hand tools only - do not use power tools or impact drivers on any fixing point.
Important Information
For use with SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) systems only. Not an electrical enclosure. Mains power must not be connected to or routed through any 730design product under any circumstances.
