Extending the Range: ControlBase for Pharos and ETC Touchscreens

The ControlBase range extends coverage to Pharos and ETC Mosaic touchscreens - bringing the same desktop and surface mounting options already available for Dynalite panels to these ecosystems.

One bracket, shared mounting standard

Pharos runs two parallel ecosystems - Designer and Express - each with its own touchscreen: TPS for Designer, XPT for Express. Both, along with ETC Mosaic, share a common physical mounting plate standard across the 5-inch and 8-inch formats, so a single bracket design covers all three rather than requiring a separate product per ecosystem.

The 5-inch format - Pharos TPS5, Pharos XPT5 Express (Expert) Touch, and ETC Mosaic M-TS5 (Unison Mosaic 5 inch Touchscreen) - mounts to the UMP-5 universal mounting plate supplied with the panel, using 2x M3.5 fixing screws on a 120.6mm fixing centre spacing.

The 8-inch format - Pharos TPS8, Pharos XPT8 Express (Expert) Touch, and ETC Mosaic M-TS8 (Unison Mosaic 8" Touchscreen) - mounts to the UMP-8 plate, using 4x M3.5 screws on a 92.1mm × 83.3mm centre spacing.

PoE, and the connector question

These panels are PoE-based, and the bracket reflects that: single-cable PoE and PoE+ compatible, with either a keystone backplane or a Neutrik D-type option. The D-type variant ships with a blank plate, so the correct Neutrik EtherCon insert can be fitted on site once installed, rather than committing to a specific connector at time of order.

Desktop and surface options

Both formats are available as ControlBase for the desktop - a weighted, precision-matched mount - and as ControlSurface for direct mounting onto joinery, stone, or timber.

Materials and finish

As with the rest of the range, Gallery finish (glass fibre reinforced composite, satin clearcoat) is available in Arctic White, Luna Grey, or Obsidian Black; Core finish (carbon fibre reinforced composite, no clearcoat) in Anthracite Black. M3.5 fixing screws are supplied as standard, with 6-32 UNC thread variants available on request.
